Frigidaire Washing Machine Model FWSB6600ES0

The washer will not fill with water but will spin and agitate. I am trying to determine if the pressure switch is bad or if the water inlet switch is bad.

I have the pressure switch out to test.

Can you tell me how to test the switch with an ohm meter? I no little about using the meter and am not sure what the meter should read to indicate a good switch or bad switch.

I have an ohm meter and if I touch terminal 1 (ro) and 2 (vl), the meter will go from infinity to zero and if I blow into the switch is returns to infinity.

If I touch terminals 2 (vl) and 3 (pr), the meter stays at infinity and if I blow into the switch, the meter goes to zero.

I sounds like your switch is bad, here is a link to the service manual which discussed the switch on page 36.

Go ahead and replace it, and if you buy from this site and it is not the switch but the timer instead you can replace it.
