My Frigidaire side by side is not cooling properly. Compressor runs feels hot, not hot enough to make you remove hand. Condenser and fan runs, coils have been cleaned. Evaporator fan runs. Defrost operates. I have replaced the control board. The only frost I see is from the small wire leading into the Evaporator down to the first curve in the coils. the frost pattern measures about 10 inches in length. Freezer is hovering around 40 degrees. Is this a cold control problem?

Sounds like the compressor is running all the time except when it is in a defrost cycle, correct?
So it is not a control problem as the unit knows it is too warm and is trying to lower the temperature.

Sounds like a sealed system problem to me.
The compressor runs but the evaporator are either not cooling or just cooling in one area.
This will be an expensive repair as you need a pro.
Often it makes more sense to put the dollars towards a new unit.
