I wiped down the cooktop with a wet wipe this morning to remove a spill from yesterday. The lights on the control panel flashed as they regularly do when the cooktop is wet. I dried it off immediately, as I normally do and now three of the four elements have a led indicator lit (the one that is normally on when the elements are turned on) and these elements are completely unresponsive. Only one of the elements is working now and it will only go up to 9 on the power level for some reason.

I've tried everything I can think of, including turning the breaker off and leaving it off for hours, hoping it would reset.

The model I have for this unit is posted above, but when I look for parts, I only see PHP900DM1BB and PHP900DM2BB as options. I have no idea which would be the one I have.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jack

This appears to be a control board issue that others have experienced with the GE induction cooktop. But I'm not sure which board causes this. Anyone have an idea?
