I put in a new dryer motor. It will not run now. Question is what or where can I find a diagram of how the wires go in order by colors? I put the motor in with the motor repair video you have on your website but it is not working. What could the problem be on why it won't run. I want to make sure the wires are in order. Please help very frustrated on all the time I spent to do this.

The wiring diagram does not show the colors of the motors wiring, only the wiring harness colors. So, here's how it goes. Red harness wire to motor terminal that goes to motor blue wire. Brown/yellow harness wire to motor terminal that goes to motor orange wire. Pink harness wire to motor terminal with no motor wire (after motor black wire). The other two harness wires go to motor connector outermost terminals. Does motor attempt to start at all when you press start switch? Timer must be on, door must be closed.

Eric,
The motor doesn't even try to turn over. I have the door
Shut and timer on. That's why I wondering what could be wrong. I was wish
they had a diagram of the motor with a picture showing colors in order from top to bottom. I will look at motor and the info you gave me to see if my wires are right. What
else could it be? A defective motor??

Why did you replace the motor? Failure of motor to start can be caused by faulty timer, start switch, door switch, motor or wiring problem. You did check that you have power at receptacle?

I replaced to other motor because it was making a terrible metal grinding noise when on. I believe thr bearings where going. So it was working with the old motor just lound metal to metal grinding noise. It was heated up and drying clothes.

Eric,
What do you mean the wiring harness? On the motor when it came it has a blue on top then orange w/ pink wire attached to those 2 is a metal piece rectangular where the pink and orange wire go into and hang along side the motor. Below is a black wire. So closest to me when sitting in front on the motor it goes blue, orange, black. I need to know how the wires go in order behind them. I have in like this green, red, pink, yellow(which has like 2 wires going to it and one attach attached to motor and down below it and other running out to attach to dryer door. Is this correct or not?
Help

Eric,
I was I could send a picture to you some how. You didn't mention a green wire in your reply earlier. I have a green wire which I have plugged in first, then red, pink wire that goes to the black box on bottom of dry where the arm of the bar sits for where you wrap the belt around for the drum. Then the double wired yellow wire then the black wire that goes the the thermostat attached to blow wheel side. What do I have wrong?

Need to see photo's of what you have. Post them to a photo sharing website and provide link to them here. Wiring harness is the wires in the dryer, not the wires in the motor. All you need to make the motor start is connect harness red wire to motor blue wire and harness brown/yellow wire to motor orange wire. Press/hold start switch and motor should start and run with only those wires attached as long as you hold the start switch. If it's not working, then either the motor is bad or there's some other problem in the dryer.

Thanks
