We own a Whirlpool Gold Dishwasher model # GU2400XTPS1 serial # FR3703514 that is starting to make random noises during it's cycles that sounds like broken glass or popcorn popping inside it? There isn't anything obvious that we can see in the bottom and there isn't anything hindering the water from being circularly dispersed on both baskets. Any suggestion's on what it could be? We do not make a lot of money and would appreciate in this economy any help with this so that we can attempt to fix it ourselves and save us a few dollar's in the mean time. We have gotten pretty good so far with big ticket item's the last few year's especially :D

Sounds like you have some kind of debris rattling around your impeller. If you can take the lower spray arm off and keep dismantling till you get to the impeller you should be able to clean it out.
