As I read the posts, I see the Whirlpool self-cleaning cycle is a 1-shot deal, where the thermal fuse (engineered on the BACK of the oven, read, pull oven out!)
Forgive the repeat, but two questions:
1.)Should I pull the bottom element and check resistance reading first? 2.) What is the part number for the thermal fuse for this unit so I can it ordered? Thanks, Joe from Oshtemo:confused:

Hello, thank you for asking your question here. If you just self cleaned and neither the bake or broil will get hot, then the thermal protector on the rear has failed. Unfortunately this means the oven does need to be pulled so the thermal protector can be replaced. Make sure you flip the breaker before you attempt to service the unit. The part you need is in the link Click HereAppliance Repair Portland
