I have replaced the soap dispenser mechanism and continue to have the same problem. When the power is on, and the dishwasher door is closed, the soap dispenser mechanism begins to rattle. When I open the door, it stops. Close it again, and it starts to rattle again. I can see the actuator arms in the soap dispenser are rattling. Could it be a bad latch? The dishwasher seems to work, but rattle is terrible.

Update. Ordered a new Door Latch and the problem persists. The Soap Dispenser will not open either. It seems as those the wax motor is being constantly energized, creating the rattle of the plastic mechanical parts.

Update: Ordered a new $200 control module and problem solved.
