Dear Sir,

This problem happens after I replaced a malfuncting lid switch on my washer. The lid switch works fine now.

The problem is that as soon as I plug in the electric outlet without doing anything, I can hear the sound of the time ticks and I can see it moves. If I do not pull the plug off, the timer will keep ticking forever.

Either I pull of the plug or open the lid, it will stop ticking.

Normally, I plug in the outlet, the washer is quiet. So I can set up the temperature, select the load size and so on. Then I dial the knob and pull it up to start.

Now, without doing anything, just plug it into the power outlet, the timer ticks all the time. It is really bothering me.

I really appreciate if you can help me on this.

Thanks a lot!

That is unusual. The obvious problem would seem to be some type of wiring issue or a problem with the timer. Check the wiring the goes to and from the timer and if all looks okay replace the timer.

If you order the part from this site and the timer does not fix things you can return it.

Good luck.
