My dryer sounds like the agitator on a washing machine,it heats fine but the noise drives me crazy....any ideas????

If by washing machine you mean that it is thumping then the most common cause is a bad rear support roller.

Best to get the set of rollers with tri wings as these often break taking them off.

Also check the the drum has not split at it's seam.
May also be sometnig stuck between the drum seal and the frame but this is usually a grinding or sqeeling noise.
