The temp control-electronic digital display numbers are fluctuating on my Frigidaire model FFH17F7HWB. The lower portion of the freezer appears to be icing up but not the rest of the shelves. I tried unplugging the cord for over 30 minutes in hopes of it re-setting but it didn’t.

I’m thinking I’ll need to replace the temp control-electronic part #297366300 but before I buy one I thought I’d ask for comments/guidance. Also if it is the control, how do I remove it from the door without damaging any associated parts?

I have the very same question. I've tried carefully prying it off with a putty knife, but to no avail. Is it held on with adhesive, clips or both?
