- Dryer ran for about 5 minutes, turned and heated up normally, then quit completely. No heat, no tumbling. Door switch is functioning normally. Breaker is fine. You can feel a slight, inaudible, vibration when you press the "Start" switch.
thermal fuse, perhaps?

Yes, it could be the thermal fuse. If the unit will not start again. Unplug the unit and check the fuse with a meter. If it is blown be sure to check/clean your vent system as that is the most common cause of the fuse popplng.
If it restarts after a couple minutes then it is probably related to the motor. |
