Ignore my request for opening the washer. Figured it out, it was clips I just wasn't pushing at the right angle. Found out my pump is leaking and will replace. However, should I also replace the motor coupling as long as I've got the machine open? I looks to be a little more involved but not too terrible.
Thanks for any advice.

Cathy, It would be a GREAT idea to do so!!! The OEM part # that you want is 285753. This is a HD unit. If you do this you should have several more years of trouble free service!!!!:D
