I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard 3. It quit working in mid-cycle last week while it was draining. Now it doesn't do anything and the normal wash light is flashing rapidly. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and the cancel light was lit (not flashing.) Still won't do anything unless you hold the cancel button down and press and hold start, release the cancel button then release the start button. Then it goes back to draining. It stays working for about 15 seconds then it goes back to the normal wash light flashing rapidly. I tried the trick to reset the machine pressing hi temp wash, heated dry, hi temp wash, heated dry and it still didn't do anything. I checked for continuity on the fuse and it is still good. So I ordered a new control board. I installed it and it STILL DOES THE SAME THING!!!

HELP!!!

I figured it out!!! One of the buttons was sticking on the touch pad! I took it all apart and bent the little button that was stuck back out! Now it works again! I have an extra control board now too!!!!

I have the same problem, but I couldn't figure out how to get to the other side of the buttons. I took it all apart, but it seems the buttons are molded to the exterior and there is no acess panel on the inside. It is a Kenmore Quiet Guard 3 and it is 3 years old. Any ideas? Is there something I am not trying? I really don't want to pay for a repair if I can fix it myself.

You have to peel off the sticker on the front. There is a touch board on the other side. It has all the buttons in it.

Can you put the sticker back on once you remove it? If not, can you buy just the sticker or do you have to buy the whole control panel? Thank you for your help so far. I just don't want to pull off the sticker if I can't replace it.
