We typically use the top oven most often. First the oven light has be intermittent. Next, the fan for the convection feature was getting wobbly, like it was loose. Then there was smoke like it's burning off food debris, but oven is clean. And finally, the spinning wheel seemed to wobble itself too much and it hit the metal and completely stopped. I switched the oven to bake and it still works. Seems just the convection and that fan have a problem. Oh and the light. GAH!

Can this be repaired for less than the price of a new wall oven??

Sounds like just the convection fan motor needs replacing.

The light may be a simple fix.
Remove power from the unit.
Remove the light bulb.
Then gently pry the center connector up a little.
While you have the bulb out check it's center connector.
