I have searched for this problem on this forum to no avail, sorry if its been covered.

My neptune washer is leaving the clothes very wet. I followed the troubleshooting in the repair manual in section 2, electrical components and testing. The motor control and phase tested ok. I have continuity through the out-of-balance circuit. The door switch, wax motor and door lock spin enable switch all function normally. The wiring from the switches to the control board checks ok. It seems to tumble and distribute fine. When it tries to accelerate past 250rpm, the tub stops for 5 seconds doesn't try to re-distribute the load and starts to spin in the same direction as before but never accelerates past 250rpm or so. I don't have a tachometer to verify the exact speed.

From what I've read in the manual, I believe the control board is controlling the spin up of the motor. I installed the motor conversion kit, P/N 12002039 a few years ago. Before I order up a control board, is there anything I am overlooking? Thanks for the help!

New Plan! Now parting out a Maytag Neptune MAH4000AWW. 2 machine control boards, 1 new 1 original. Both good. All the switches, the timer, valves, new motor conversion kit, P/N 12002039 purchased in 2008 from **********************************.com. Please email to plz94@netscape.net if interested. Please make offer for any of the parts. The new control board is $125, the old is $50/BO. Thanks!
