I used to dry my clothes with GE dryer and I found that it was not heating.Problem was there in the heating element of dryer. This occurs when the belts inside the dryer are not moving freely. http://camilla.com.au/shop/kaftans-2.html

Zet A model number may help others help you. Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.comAlso do you have the wiring diagram as I do not have access to GE tech info so any help I might be able to give will be just guessing. If you do not have it take a look in the control console they often store it in there. Although you did not specifically say I am assuming that you have checked this heating coil. I am also assuming that you are using a meter to check the parts. Often they use two thermostat. One of them controls both elements and the second one controls just one of the elements. Also it may feed through the temperature selection switch. Perhaps the following sample GE diagrams will be helpful http://www.applianceaid.com/sample-wiring-diagrams.php |
