I have an OLD? Maytag LSE 1000 stackable washer/dryer. I was washing clothes when the washer filled but would not agitate, spin or empty. It will fill fine. Any ideas as to the part I need to replace?

Check out the lid switch. You have the classic problems of a lid switch failure. If not the lid switch the timer could be the issue, but I am betting it is the lid switch.
