FIX THAT THING!

Hello,

I have a brand new GE gas dryer. After pressing the "start" button, the machine ran fine for a few cycles. Now, when I press the start button, the machine starts but stops right away.

I noticed that if I keep pressing and holding the start button, the machine then runs. But when I release it, the machine stops.

Is the problem coming from the push button switch electronics or something else? Is this something that I can repair easily myself or do I need to call a technician? what parts would I need if I can fix it myself?

Thanks,
Alex
