Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/8/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		A couple months ago the start switch was acting up so I replaced it. Then the cycle buzzer went intermittent so I ordered one and replaced it yesterday 3/21. Buzzer still didn't work so then I cleaned all the lint from around the motor and anyplace else I saw it in the dryer. Still no buzzer. Centrifugal switch on motor has all its parts. Where do I go from here? I am a DIYer, know how to operate a multimeter so don't be afraid to get technical in you answer.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Expert Joined: 10/16/2012(UTC) Posts: 3,806 Was thanked: 7 time(s) in 7 post(s)		Assuming this is a TEDS840PQ and assuming you have the buzzer switch ON, with dryer running, keeping fingers away from bare terminals, unplug the white wire from timer W terminal (if wiring harness has 3 terminal plug with tan, white and white/black wires, unplug that). Dryer should stop and buzzer should sound continuously. If it doesn't, you probably have a faulty motor switch. If it does sound but won't at normal end of cycle, probably a bad timer. Eric
