During the normal or both racks wash cycle, I get a flashing HO on the display that lasts up to 30 minutes while the washer is trying to heat the water. I checked continuity of the heating element and have 20 ohms resistance. I also checked the water temp at the sink next to the diswasher and it is 130 degrees F. Any other trobleshooting ideas to help fix the problem?

try preheating the water at the sink first before starting the load of dishes. HO indicates the washer is heating the water. If you had a ammeter you can check for current draw to see if it is working....

Here are your parts
Parts for Frigidaire PLD2855RFC1 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

Did you check the hi-limit thermostat (item 30 in section 07).
Should be 0 ohms.
Description says it is resettable but I could not tell from the views if it has the little button on the back that pops out when it trips

I checked the hi-limit thermostat and it was near 0 ohms. I couldn't see a reset button, but there was evidence of overheating on one of the plastic connectors (it had a brown color on 1/2 of it). The metal connection and the wire looked good. I also increased the temp at the water heater, but I continue to experience the problem near the end of the cycle.

Replace the thermostat and the connector that is browned, the thermostat kicks out when it gets hot enough, the terminal is getting hot and tripping out early (too cool for heat)....

I have the thermostat on order. Will post results after the connector and thermostat are replaced.

Thanks
