Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 1,363		Yours looks like the kind that hangs on the side wall with a bracket. You loosen two top and one bottom screw and lift the ice maker off the bracket and then unplug the wiring harness.

Unfortunately still doesnt make ice so guess i need to troubleshoot further. Tray fills with water but seems that it may be sensing that the door icebucket is full....when its empty. Thanks again

I put my hand in the icemaker and the water was frozen...next time i checked it was just cold water. Its either intermittent or terribly slow...yes it was a new OEM icemaker.

It should be around 5 to 10 degrees.

Therre is also a ice tray sensor on the inside door and a on off switch with a flashing red light on the other side that flashes in pairs when the freezer door is open. Could one or both of these be the problem...both seem easy to replace. thanks Bill
