My Ice maker stopped making Ice. There were cubes in the mold, but not ejecting into the bin. Found a 'Test Switch' on the front right side of the ice maker assembly after I pulled the ice tray out, but it does not seem to do anything. I pulled the ice maker assembly out, let the cubes and the mold to warm up and removed the cubes. After putting it all back together, I let it run overnight and again had cubes in the mold, but they do no eject into the ice bin. Anyone have any ideas.

I have been doing some further testing with this problem and have discovered that if I turn the ice maker off via the front control panel, turn it back on, then press a test switch that is located on the front right side of the ice maker unit (accessed by pulling out the ice bin) I can get it to make one batch (7) of ice cubes. Then nothing - no activity for a couple of days. I can repeat the above procedure and get another 7 cubes made, but it doe not continue making ice.
This test tells me that everything is working, water supply OK, ice maker is cold enough, the short heat cycle to loosen the cubes works, and the eject motor cycle works to eject the cubes. But then it stops and will not go to an automatic cycle.
Anyone have any ideas? I was just recently laid off at work and I can't afford to just throw money at this issue. Hoping to get some feedback that will help me zero in on the issue.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
Cheers! John
