Yesterday dryer started losing heat after a few minutes. I can hear the sound of 'tumling sand' when it first starts up (may or may not be related to the heat symptom?). Need help diagnosing, if you can point me to any how-to videos to aid in getting inside the machine and identifying parts would be great.
Vent is clear outside and at the connection at back of machine.
Thanks!

some further info:
took off front panel. turned on machine. igniter glowed, gas flowed and lit. ran for about 12-15 minutes then gas cut off. tried to restart right after by shutting off dryer and restarting. Igniter glowed, heard click - which I assume was gas supposed to be starting - and igniter stopped glowing, but no gas ignited. does this indicate something? some sort of solenoid failing or something?
Really appreciate any input. Sure this must be some failing component that I can replace DIY-style.
Thanks,
K

Hi,
from further research on site, seemed like likely culprit was coil valve. received new parts and replaced, but symptoms are same.
Anyone out there able to give a hand/advice? Or is it time to start writing big checks to the professionals?
Thanks,
K
