Ai have a frigidare range that is acting goofy. When I turn the oven on to bake, preheat or conv bake, the broiler comes on. I have pulled the panel and do not see any wires that look damaged.

This is my second panel in 9 years. My warming drawer and warming burner also went out previously resulting in a new board at $300 repair cost.

Any advice (other than cutting my loss and buying a new oven) would be helpful.

Red/Orange/Yellow/Blue/Black should be the color series of the big thick wires on the control module. If the blue and yellow are backwards the broil will fire instead of the bake.

Some ovens use broil during the preheating process.

Test for 240v on the bake element and resistance check of around 18 ohms for bake to see if it is good.
