The new heating element also came with a new computer board. Part # AP3841139. There were no instructions for installation. The only two things i noticed different were the original computer board had i believe were two 4+ pin plugs that when transferred to the new board they did not go parrell with each other like on the original one. One was vertical to the other. Could i have hooked them up wrong? Also there was a little square white box with 2 wire plugins on it that didn't come with the new board i transferred it from the old one to the new one so i could hook up the original wires. Should i have done this? Also, the dishwasher ran for about a week or so before blowing the fuse and i'm not sure if it was heating as hot as it should have. Gene if you reply to this there was another thread i replied to a couple nights ago that a guy had the similar problem but i believe he said one of the 4+ pin wires needed to be turned 180 degrees

Can you be more specific on that?

Which fuse you are talking about: a house fuse or a dishwasher fuse?

Gene.

Dishwasher fuse. Gene all i can remember was on the edge of the old board was a little square box that 2 wires plugged into it. It was not on the new board that came with the heating element. Since i had nowhere to plug the 2 existing wires i took the old one off and put it on the new if that makes any sense

Update: I have since replaced the fuse (which was the little white box with two wires mentioned above). Everything is running fine now. Was it just something that went bad after i replaced the heater? Also, i still don't think it dries as well as it use too. Any input on that Gene?
