Hi all;
My outer stainless door panel got damaged and i am looking for advise or a walk-thru on how to replace this item??
From pics of the part i have seen it looks like just 8 screws?
But i am wondering about the top mounted control pad and if that will have to be disturbed?

Most figidaire dishwashers have 2 phillips screws about 2/3 of the way down the inner door (the rest at the top are T20 Torx IIRC), remove them, ODP slides down and off, new on is reverse of removal. 2 minute repair.

Mine has torx screws for all of them. 6 screws on side..(3per) and another 6 across the top.
Not sure if the 6 side screws just attach the ODP and the top 6 are for the controls at the top of the door assembly and the latch??
Any one else??

Well, that is an extremly uncommon ODP, but you are basically going to need to remove all the screws from either side, there may be only 2 you leave in at the top, but you can remove all of them if you like and it may be easier than trying to figure out which 2 to leave. Have a buddy handy to help catch the panel when you remove the screws......
