PDW7800G00BB Heat doesn't shut off, luckily I smelled the eluting plastic.
It has happened a few times before, and although the dishwasher has recalls my serial number doesn't cmd up as part of the recall.
Now that I have shut off the breaker it probably won't happen for a while, bt what parts do I need to fix it? I have a meter to check it out and am very mechanically oriented, but I'm new to dishwashers.
Also, how do I check the year of manufacture?

Make shure the neutral and hot lines to the dishwasher are correct, IIRC some dishwashers are wired where if they are reversed and the heating element would short it would do that and stay on.....
