I noticed water splashing at bottom of washer while agitating but also leaks when standing still. The water is falling on the belt. The washer stops washing after a while . First it starts slowing down then just stops. I replaced the belt , it was cracked and worn. It worked fine for about a week but now doing the same. Any ideas where I may start looking at and see if I can fix this issue. Thanks

I assume this is a GE top loader, in which case you want to operate it with the front panel off and see if you can detect where the leak is coming from.

A likely problem is the center seal which then allows water to get into the transmission housing which could be causing some of your problems.

If you need more info please post a model number and let us know what you observed in running it with the front panel off.
