Three years ago my dryer didn't heat on "extra low" setting. I believe the technician replaced the thermistor (under warranty). I again have the same problem. Would this be the "thermistor." I just want to make sure that it wasn't the "thermostat" that was replaced. All other dryer settings work fine. Does this sound like a "thermistor" issue? Is there a website I can go to see how the repair is done?

Yes, the thermistor is only used on the extra low heat setting. Suggest you search on youtube for any videos on your dryer disassembly. The thermistor is located on the back side of the blower box which is at lower front inside dryer. Basically, remove top panel, then front panel. I believe your dryer has two screws holding front of top panel down. Open door and look in top of door opening for these screws. Lift front panel up high then pull forward to release from control panel. Then you will find two screws to remove to be able to get front panel off after disconnecting door switch connection.
