Hello, New here, and asking for help.

I have this old whirlpool fridge, and in its history its still cools just fine. A while back, the ice dispenser stopped working, But everything else was fine. Then the water on the door stopped.. about 4 years ago... Now the ice maker still works, but it gets all frozen together. I have been reading a bit, and it looks like the icemaker probably has a leak, and it should be replaced. If I am going to take it apart, Should I order the ice motor, and solenoid too? If is there a way to bench test the parts to see what the problem is? Or take advantage of the return policy, order everything, and return what isnt necessary?

Is there any kind of logic board that could make the whole thing stop dispensing?

Thanks!
