My refrigerator is working, both sides are cold. Problem is it cycles on, runs for 15 minutes, turns off for 15 minutes and repeats. The coils were cleaned, no change. The cold control was changed, no change. What else could be the problem?

I cannot find info on the given model number, please check it.

Has the unit ever run at a different cycling interval?

I would check the temperatures.
The freezer should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
The fresh food should be around 40 degrees F.

Is the condenser/compressor fan on whenever the compressor is on?

Check the door seals.
Get a two inch wide piece of paper.
Place it between the door seal and the frame and then pull it out to check the seal.
Work your way around both doors.
Look at the hinge side of the seals to ensure that the seal does not grab/twist when closing the door.

Thanks for the reply. The Model # ED5FVGXVS00. Yes, it has run at different cycling interval sometimes every 10 min or every 25 min. Freezer temp is 0 & fresh food 39. Yes, the condenser/compressor fan is on whenever the compressor turns on. The door seals are good and no twisting.

Today I noticed the defrost pan is always dry and the evaporator coil is always frosted, it doesn't seem like the refrigerator is defrosting & the fresh food compartment is colder. Thanks in advance for your help.

Your temperatures look OK.

I do not think you have a defrost problem because your temperatures are OK.
A;lso the evaporator coils have to be iced/frosted over to the point that the evaporator fan cannot pull air throiugh them.

Is the frost on the evaporator coils fairly even?
If there is frost in only one area then it could be a sealed system problem.

I do not know why you do not get defrost water.
Perhaps you just do not notice it.
If you live in a fairly dry part of the county and/or do not open the doors very often then there may not be much water.
When there is a fair amount of frost on the evaporator you could try forcing a defrost cycle to see if water does go into the drip pan.
