Will it pump out? Remove the front cover and start a cycle look where the tub and the transmission meet. If water is leaking from there this may cause two problems either the water from the leak is causing the belt to slip or the spin bearing has rusted, locking the tub up. You may just have to replace the belt. Also make sure there isn’t grease from the transmission leaking on the belt causing it to slip. Maytag Washer Repair Guide

Oh if it won’t pump out something is probably stuck in the pump causing your problem.
