My GE washer will not spin. Everything else seems to work fine in the cycle. It is very loud and will spin for just a few seconds then stop.

Looking for help on why this could be happening. I made a video to show the problem. I can make more videos if needed, just ask. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does motor ever kick back on or just stays off for duration of spin cycle? Do you have a multimeter?

It doesn't seem to spin at all now and the belt is not even moving anymore. It will go through a whole cycle but when it's supposed to spin it doesn't do anything. I do not have a multimeter.

Here is another video. Ge #2 - YouTube

Jump out pins 3 and 6 on the back of the speed switch. If this doesn't work, you really need a multimeter to determine where the problem is. Could be speed switch, timer or possibly the water level switch if it's breaking down under motor load. Does it do same thing in slow/slow speed?
