re: a Bosch- SMU 7056 us/09 fd7305 approximately 12 years old.
The machine doesn't advance through it's cycle. The first time it happened, it remained stalled for about a day. Now it remains stuck in the rinse cycle.Anyone have any ideas about where to start?

The problem could be a bad selector switch, a bad timer or a bad heater. You have to check all of them for continuity according to the wiring diagram. The timer for this dishwasher is no longer available.
