Over the past week I've noticed my frig getting steadly warmer...went to several sites looking for where to start...the evaporator was frozen, defrosted it with hair dryer...what else do I need to check and replace so this doesn't happen again?

check defrost heater, defrost thermostatRefrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.com

If the defrost heater and defrost thermostat are ok the problem will the the elec. defrost control. Part 5 on this diagram. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/sect/s/4/5/s45iswwjiy.gif
