Hi,
Our GE Profile stove jb968soh3ss no longer heats. It turns on and the fan is running, it clicks like it is working but it takes forever to heat and never gets to temperature. This is in the bake mode, I have not tried convection. The broiler works. We replaced the temperature sensor on the center back of the oven but that did not fix the problem. What do we need to do?
Thank you

I cannot find any info on the given model number. please check it. Are you sure it has the "o" in it.
Could be that the bake element is bad. Most units switch back and forth between the bake and broil elements during pre-heat and bake cycles. I would check it with a meter. |

Sorry still cannot find it. The closest match I can find is below. Parts for GE JB968SH3SS Range - AppliancePartsPros.comBut it does not include a "o" or a "0" Perhaps by looking at the parts breakdowns you can tell if it is the same. Clicking on a part's picture or description will often bring up a page with additional info/views. Some have a Q&A that can also be useful. |
