Lovely (and athletic wife) pulled the darned handle and top panel plum off the d/w. The control panel hasn't recognized "favorite cycle" since Seinfeld was on tv. Any advice on replacing the plastic top door panel # 974443 and/or touch pad as compared to buying new would be deeply appreciated. thanks, michael

I cannot find "974443". I tried here and the Sears parts site with no luck.
The Sears parts site does show that the only available control panel is in black.
Note: The control panel includes the keypad. |

Appreciate your research. Wife confirms that black just won't work. Do you think there might be alternate parts from Whirlpool, etc. I dno't know how to translate the numbers or if that's even an option. Thanks again

The part is actually a Whirlpool part.
There is no alternative. |
