I have reason to believe my thermostat (#131539400) needs replacing. I would like to confirm with continuity check. Since there are five leads, I'm not sure which to check.

You dd not include a model number but below is a wiring diagram for a unit (FDG336RET2) that uses the same thermostat and shows how it is wired.
