The lock indicator (that should appear during and after self-cleaning) is lit on the control panel although the oven is not locked. Also, the oven light stays on whether or not the door is closed. Cannot clear or use bake, broil, etc.
This occurred after I had removed the electronic oven control to fix a stuck button that was causing an F1 code. Before reassembly the oven appeared to be functioning normally. After reassembly the above problem occurred. I replaced the EOC, but the problem remains.

I would check the door latch switches and all wires to the EOC.
Gene. What did you do to fix a stuck button?

I did what the Sears repairman did when we had the F1 problem originally - take out the EOC and peel off the membrane keypad and carefully flex, roll, and otherwise cajole it.
A few times I've been able to forestall disassembly by vigorously rubbing the keypad with a paper towel.

I thought I had, but I finally called in a pro. For awhile, he was as baffled as I was until he pulled up a wiring schematic and started tracing a wire until he came up with a loose connector that was hiding under a ledge.
Thanks.
