Hello all. When I preheat the oven to let's say 400, the oven beeps when my thermometer says it's only 350? If I set it to 350, the oven beeps when it shows ~320 on the gauge. The thermometer is hanging in the center of the oven. What I do now is if I need it to actually be 350, I set the oven to 400. If I need 400, I have to set it to ~475.
My question is, is there a rheostat, a dial or a pin switch on the board I can adjust to get this sorted out? It has been this way since new...
Thanks Dean

Yes, the oven calibration should be adjustable. The ES300 you give is the control board model not the range model. The procedure for the oven calibration should be in the operators manual. Usually it is plus or minus 30 degrees. You should be able to get the operators manual from the Frigidaire website but you need the model number. Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com |
