This is a Kenmore over the range microwave. While cooking, the interior fan turns off. We have to hit it numerous times until it starts working again. I am not talking about the range hood exhaust fan, it is the fan that runs while the microwave is running. Thank you for your time...

Sounds like a bad bearing or the motor (same part actually). It could also be that the fan is blocked with grease/dust.
