The A/C worked perfect last night. I came home and tonight when I cut it on it just makes a sound of humming. Power is definitely going to the unit but nothing moves. Scared to leave it on more than a second thinking it might overheat. It reminds me of how a car starter does when it locks up. It clicks but won't turn over.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!

If the fan is not coming on, the motor may be having issues. If you turn it to a fan only setting, does the fan come on or only hum?

Thank you. There is a capacitor in there that aids the motor in starting. It is more likely to be faulty than the motor itself. If the motor will turn easily by hand, the capacitor is likely faulty. I have posted a link to the capacitor below. Frigidaire 5304463525 Capacitor - AppliancePartsPros.com
