Hi, I need help deciding which parts to replace on the back of my fridge. The age is a best guess, because it came with the house I'm living in. It is still running properly, but the clicking noise is on a cycle that has been going off and on almost 12 hours now, possibly longer.

I would appreciate any help and guidance you can give me.

Can you tell if the clicking noise is coming from inside the cabinet or outside and what general area, high or low? Is it a rapid clicking or rhythmic at all?

The clicking is simply a fast speed, but it seems to vary in rhythm from time to time. I have heard it change sounds, but it would be hard to describe the change unless I hear it again.

The sound is coming from the outside lower left area (when standing in front of the fridge). I do not have the ice-maker functioning at this time if that helps narrow it down.

Well, the condenser fan motor is down there. I wonder if a piece of paper or something is in the blade, getting knocked around a bit. Can you remove the cover from that lower area and inspect that fan blade area?

Well, I can see a fun sized snickers wrapper in there but I'm having trouble getting the cover off. Thank you for your help! I will come back if the trouble continues after I get the wrapper out.

Turns out that wrapper was not so fun after all! ;) Please let me know if you have further trouble. Have a great week!
