I found this piece at the bottom of my kenmore elite dishwasher. Can anyone tell me what it is? See attachment.

I don't recognize that right off. Are the adjustable rack components on the top rack all complete and not visibly broken?

Nothing looks broken at all and the dishwasher works fine.

I don't think it is from the dishwasher. It looks like the piece moves and may seal something at the bottom, looking at the picture. The color is not of any of the plastic in the dishwasher, either. Do you have a coffee pot or something that is missing a part?

You are correct! My wife just remembered she put the coffee put in the dishwasher for the first time. What through me off was the plastic color is the same as the plastic color in the dishwasher. Thank you for your help!
