I have an issue in the back of the freezer on the inside I believe where the water comes into the ice maker. Water leaks on the landing where the freezer fan motor is causing the water to freeze and build up. Eventually it builds up enough to where the fan does not work properly. Water also runs down the back of the freezer to the bottom compartment the freezing. It also will run into the floor if enough has built up enough in the bottom. So I am thinking the leak is coming from where the water comes in the back of the freezer and into the chute to the icemaker. Any suggestions, part numbers and videos would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is the ice maker still working and are the cubes of normal size?

Ice maker is still working. Cubes are normal size for the most part. Sometimes they are smaller than they sould be.

The water inlet valve has been replaced and that did not fix the problem.

Have a look at the fill tube that delivers the water to the ice maker. Does it appear to be in place and allowing the water to flow freely into the ice maker without splashing?

Yes, it is in place and the water does flow freely into the ice maker.

Can you see where the ice trail starts from above and drips down? Have you removed the rear panel inside the freezer to inspect the area behind it?

I have not been able to see where the trail starts and drips from. I have removed the panel inside the freezer that exposes the fan motor. This is where the water is landing - to the left of the freezer fan.

It has to be either dripping from the ice maker line as it fills or there may be warm air getting in around where that line feeds in through the cabinet wall, but that is a stretch. You will probably need to disassemble until you can see at the very top where the leak is originating.

Okay. Is the chute one piece that goes from the back/outside of the unit to the ice maker or are there any valves/couplings? Thanks for you help.
