You likely have a faulty motor control that is causing issues with the machine control. You can verify this pretty easily. Remove the screws from the rear edge of the top panel and remove that panel. In the RF corner of the machine you will see the machine control. With the machine unplugged, locate the connector in the spot labeled MI3 on the control and carefully remove it. Then, plug the machine back in and see if it will power up. Let me know what happens, please.

That is the wrong control, the control that connector is on is pictured at the link below, mounted on the RH side near the front of the machine.

What is is the sensor attached to MI3? I got it to work to where the dial can show the times and the normal wash could activate.

Did you disconnect the connector that is labeled MI3 on the board or what did you do to get the control to light up instead of just beep?

By removing that plug, you isolated the motor control away from the main machine control. The motor control is shorted and will need to be replaced. The drum will not move with that part being bad. The board you need is available below and is mounted to the bottom of the machine, accessed by removing the rear access panel.

I am very confident that is the problem. That is why I had you isolate the motor control, it makes diagnosis very accurate and simple. This is a very common problem. Replacing that board will get you back up and running.
