Greetings, I just replaced a faulty limit switch so now the oven broil/bake works again. However there is a ventilator motor at the back left on top of the oven casing (beneath the top cooking deck). The motor runs continuously. Also it seems like the bake burner is slow coming on. It takes three minutes or so to actually light up. Otherwise it seems to function properly.

There are two thermal limits, one actually works the fan. It is designed to close when it gets hot to turn the fan on. I suspect you replaced that with the wrong part, which is designed to be closed and open when it gets too hot. What is the part number you replaced, please?

The fan limiter is part number 31933003 and that is the one that should go in the fan circuit so the fan only runs when it gets hot enough to close that thermostat. The slow to light oven is likely due to a weak igniter that is drawing too little current through the gas valve to open it as designed. The correct igniter for your model is available below. Many thanks...looks like I replaced the limiter with the wrong part. I will probably just buy a replacement bake igniter too. They sold me a 134120900 limiter

Yeah, that is a temperature limiter for a Frigidaire. Why did you originally replace the limiter to begin with, the slow ignition?
