I have a slow leak at the bottom of my freezer door. It appears to be coming from the water line that feeds the water dispenser and ice maker. Would I need to replace this or is there an easier fix? Thanks!

If you look at the bottom of the freezer, is there a sheet of ice inside on the floor? Is this a steady leak or intermittent?

There is no sheet of ice. It is a steady leak from the tube that is fed into the bottom of the freezer door(on the outside)

Okay, so there are a couple of things going on here. The connector should not be leaking, so it probably will need to be replaced. To remove that connector, you must hold the little plastic washer that is near the connector in tightly and pull the tube from the connector. Once out, does the water eventually stop or continue to drip? There should be no water there unless the dispenser is actuated, so you may have a leaking water inlet valve, too.

There was no plastic washer for the connector. I took off the plastic panel on the inside of the freezer and found a lot of ice that had built up. This is when I found the hose to be one long piece. Hopefully the only problem I had was the ice melting and leaking

Number 80 is the connector at the bottom of that line. I am not sure what panel you removed but there should be no ice built up.

I removed the panel labeled 900 and found ice. The leak, from what I can make out from the diagram was coming from the 12, 16, 181 area which the tube is fed into if that is the outer part of the freezer.
