The right front burner is carboning up. The burner seems to start out burning okay then the frlame changes from all blue to a mixture of blue and yellow. This is the highest heating burner on the stove. Any thing I can do to repair it?

Remove the burner cap and the burner head. Make sure all burner parts are clean. If not then use a soft metal brush to clean them. Using a long needle or a toothpick, clean the hole in the orifice spud (#3 on the diagram)

I cleaned the burner cap and all areas around and still have the problem. I called the gas company and they cleaned it again still get the yellow flame and a smell not of gas.

I do not see what else can cause it. Maybe somebody else on the forum can help you better.
