Wish I would have wrote down the part number of the transistor while I had the board out. Would be great if anyone on the forum already has a part number. There is a large digital display that covers the backside of most of the board, but fortunately the transistor's leads are exposed just enough for a steady hand and a fine tip iron.

InsanO, if you are still out there - just want to confirm that you replaced the CONSOLE (item #1 in the part diagram) and not the MICROCOMPUTER (part #2 in the diagram).
Based on your feedback, it seems as though the Console was not the problem and the Microcomputer probably was. I didn't get around to changing out the transistor like I hoped I would and will probably just buy the Microcomputer board instead (Part: AP3137864).
Feedback is welcome! Or if anyone has changed out a component on this board with success, that would be great to know.
